Ohio Smoked Meat Festival - Nelsonville, OH

17 teams were scrounged togethor to save what some called a "dying contest". The weather was near perfect for this late in the season. The grounds were nice and dry, which meant pulling the camper in was easy peasy. Read my recap of the contest Link to the photo album

Chicken - 11th place

Some of the best bird I've smoked, in my opinion. The judges didn't agree though. Put me 11th, out of 17 teams.

The hotel manager wrote us a family pass to enjoy the student center pool and rock climbing wall. I think this was the highlight of the weekend for my boys.
