KCBS BBQ Contests
KCBSI usually cook in about a 1/2 dozen contests a year, and when I have time try and write a little something about each one. Unfortunately I change my website, as much as I change my recipes, so I really need to stick with one format so I don't keep losing all my notes.

It was only about 90 minutes from us, so we had to go and check it out. 16 total teams ended up showing up.
There was plenty of room at the venue, and the organizers tried very hard to put a bunch of things together to entertain. Fair-type games, dunk tank, craft show, bike and car cruise-in, etc etc.
